You're spoiling my thread. I'm waiting much longer than Jim ever did and you have a whole forum on this subject too. ;-)
He's right, you know. Maybe I could volunteer as a Group Therapy counselor for Rick Owners-In-Waiting what with all my experience.

I'm still waiting for a 4003 BBR.
Bert, how long has it been for you? We don't want to leave you out in the cold. :)

Right, it's Bert's turn now, he needs our support, but then, so does Kris Lyons, I think he has been waiting far longer than even Jim was.

Dont feel sorry for me. I keep spending the money I reserved for the 4003 BBR, so I bought several Rickenbacker's since waiting. ;-) My dealer ordered the bass 28 oktober 2005. I put a downpayment on it 6-6-6. Maybe 9-9-9 would be a nice date to get it. ;-)

Good deal, Bert. Sounds like you're not distressed in the least about it. 8)

Maybe Kris needs some encouragement ... I've got it! I'll order a new one myself.:D maybe some AFG & FWI would brighten up my life, mmmmmmmmmmm ... 8)

Nah, nice as that sounds, there are a few older models I'd like to have first.

That's some serious patience. Just exactly what are you expecting, and what's the status over at corporate?

The only distressing thing is that whenever I buy another Rick (4 now while waiting, but I sold 1) I worry about the BBR also ariving. ;-)

Well that's easy to solve. All it takes is money.

Advice is free, but I can only spend other peoples money. In general, I found Dutch people to be very good managers of money and every other aspect of social life. Alles goed geregeled, as they say, everything well in order.

Yeah, me too. I just spent about $5k and NONE of it was for anything music oriented, just repair parts. Ah well, that's a lot less than the upcoming $20k for fertilizer...
  :(
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
