Hi Josh,i,m getting a Zoom h4 this week and was curious to know if you recorded the band as a whole or did you use the four tracks individually thanks---i,ve never recorded my 4003 with the 360-12

All we did was use the X-Y mics. That's it, and it turned out crystal clear. I was running through a 1x15 Ashdown rig, there was a guitar going on the other side of a 5-piece drum kit, and a trombone and a sax player. The Zoom was within 10-15 feet of each of us, closest to the horns, furthest probably from the drums or guitar.

This is me, shamelessly bed-room-rocking on a borrowed Rickenbacker 4003 JG from 2002, I'm looking to buy a Rick for my own, but first I had to find out if the sound & playability is something for me. There are hardly any Rickenbacker basses in shops in Belgium, so I had to find it out this way. Normally I'm using a Fender Precision (with flatwounds), but since the week I've got the Rick here, I feel that a 4003 is really something for me (now it's time to find some money )

Yeah, welcome William. Now you've made the decision, take any way (legal, of course ) you can get to make money and keep your ear to the ground and you will find your Rick in no time. BTW, with the economy as it is all over, now is a great time price-wise to get a Rick.

Yeah, I'm searching my funds together right now. The only bummer is that Rickenbacker raised the prices with 25% (they cost here around 2.000€), and here in Europe Rickenbackers are quiet rare (you don't see them that often in shops). Anyone in need for a "new" kidney or something like that? 21 years old, never the victim of excessive alcohol-abuse

Hey Sean - it's been awhile! That's a new bass on me. Diggin' that forest green & black. From where I sit it looks like the neck high gain is green as well. Looks killer. Just keep it away from the Bass Gophers.

i've had that one for a few years now. it's my baby. others may come and go but this one always stays.
