I haven't visited the Curmudge section in a while, but I spent about an hour the other night just marveling over this entire thread. Aquabass nearly ready to ship...

It needs a couple of parts--on order from RIC--and it's off to its happy owner. The pickguard is painted in Aqua Pearl.

The inlays were done by Craig Lavin; I did the ebony fretboard and the refinish from a brand new FG V63.

Amazing!! And those inlays are something else!! What material(s) were used for the inlays?? Aquabass is certainly apropo. Another stellar piece!!

Paul: This instrument has more finishing touches than my imagination can create.

To hold it must rival arriving at a warm isle in the Carribean.

One of the most unique and exquisite instruments that I have had the pleasure of seeing on this forum.

So instead of shark fin inlays she's gets real shark inlays!!! How cool is that?
