Ready to give me/us that review? :wink:

It was nice to meet everyone. I felt like I've known you guys for years when it was the first time I met any of you! If anyone has any footage of "Refugee", "It's All Over Now", any of the Byrds tracks or "Jumpin' Jack Flash", please email it to me because I'm interested to hear how I did.

[quote="s4001"]Spence caught Danotron playing a mystery bass:

I didn't know I was being filmed :oops:

Your 1968 4001 is one of the most amazing instruments I've ever played, I just with I could play it better!

I'd like to echo the comments about Joey, Diane, Paul, Rich, JH, Scott, and everyone else involved with the planning for SCARF.

::::THANK YOU::::

Again, I had a great time :)

Here are a couple of cell phone shot's from the Glendora's set (proof for you non-believers)

Joey gets all the credit for pulling this off- I had nothing to do with it! When he contacted me I had no ideas at all. What Joey doesn't know is that I was off by a week on the dates, thinking there was only a day or two to find a new venue and figured it was totally hopeless, then was stunned when he said the venue manager came through after all.

John-I'm inclined to believe you-especially since Joey and guys named Paulie and Vito were involved.
Now-can I sign you up for the "Post NAMM Surf Jam"? You get first choice.

Jake -- you were a STAR ! 8) 8)

There will be some videos, but it could take weeks and weeks and weeks, because I am a novice and technical dunce with my new camcorder (including it taking a fall off the tripod at Starting Gate :oops: :oops: Luckily the camcorder survived !) And I'm also going to be delayed, as I have a lot of stuff going on at work, etc.

Anyway, there is some video footage of several tunes you performed on ... it's just going to be awhile.

Thanks to Steve Forsgren (Buddy Dog)for the tasty Arturo Fuente Corona Maduro cigar-AWESOME!! And thanks for driving from Fresno (again!) as well! Steve's a trooper. :)

Jake was asking for a review of his Dyna Comp. My first impressions playing through a set of music with it was that I was able to dial down the hiss significantly by moving the attack from the 2 o'clock position to the 9 or 10 o'clock position, and bumping up the output to the 3 o'clock position. At those settings the compressor gave a good boost and a nice compressed tone to both my 6 and 12 strings, really bringing out a lot more mids while keeping the brightness on the 12. I really liked the sound. Thanks again, Jake.

Rich, was the camera recording when if fell off the stand? Might make a cool "action" shot. ;)

Here's the first batch of my pictures ...sorry that some of them are kinda fuzzy. A lot depended upon when the effects lights for the stage were on bright or dull, and the distance from the stage when the photos were taken. Thanks to Diane for taking some of these pictures.

First ones here from the Surf set ....
