Hmmm some imposter has hi-jacked Aitch's computer.

I don't detect an Aussie accent at all.

I had to read it twice because it stung my eyes.

"I had to read it twice because it stung my eyes."

Into a bit of, er, masochism, Brian, old bean?

Why not read it again?

A sort of lyric, anyway...
I had to read it twice because it stung my eyes,
I sure had to find out what was it all about...

You are on your own on this one Sheena. Originally I was speaking metaphorically, but obviously my comment was interpreted to have a darker perhaps more sinister side.

I don't delve in that particular realm of possibilities, so I would suggest a continuance until those who are better able than I, can assist you to finish your sonnet.

Hmmm... i've just felt a rhyme here and tried to interpret your comment in a way it could make it to a song - or sort of... but i'm no good at writing lyrics in English, in fact...Image

I know....

Up until right now I haven't had the usual predictable "Midwinter Blahs" at all!

Though in all fairness I've been laughing most of the day at some of the funny band names in that other thread....
