Ah! Mr. Cheese himself. Donny Osmond. He's actually a pretty nice guy or so I am told by those who know him.

Telly Savalas is also godfather to Jennifer Anniston.
In 1967, who appeared on the first cover of Rolling Stone magazine?

I believe it was John Lennon sporting his Private Gripweed costume from Richard Lester's How I Won the War.

Hal Blaine - he played sessions for the Beach Boys, the Byrds, the Mamas and the Papas and the Ronettes amongst others.

I am a British songwriter, keyboard player and vocalist.

My first band had 5 number one albums in the UK, but never made the top fifty in the US.

After the band went into hibernation, I worked on a project of a very different genre which thus far has produced two studio albums, the first of which was top top 5 in the UK and top 20 in the US, the second of which was a UK number one and US top ten (going five times platinum in the UK and double platinum in the US). I am not credited on either album, despite having enormous input.

Who am I, which band was I in, and what was the project?

'90s to 00's Brian!

Hint 1: Everyone knows of his involvement in the project, but he remains uncredited...by choice.

Hint 2: The second album of the project launched three top 10 UK Singles, including a number one, One top 20 US single and a US Modern Rock number one.

And hint three is that I've given the gender away!

One last hint: the project albums were released in 2001 and 2005. (This should make it really easy!)

Correct.... !!

I'm always intrigued by someone who can switch genres/styles and still garner mainstream success without compromising their values. Demon Days is by far the darkest thing he's ever done (excluding The Good, the Bad and the Queen, which is just turgid) and yet was by far the most commercially successful - maybe it's a sign of the times.

Your turn Greg!

This may be a little Canada-centric, but I'm sure some of you know this band:
We are a band primarily made up of siblings.
Our biggest single (Top 5 in the US) was a cover song .
Our biggest album (which that single came from) cost approximately $300 to record, and went platinum in the US, double platinum in Canada.

Who are we?

Isn't every famous Canadian band partly made up of siblings?

For example:

Men Without Hats - The Doroschuk brothers;
Barenaked Ladies - The Creeggan brothers.

But you're talking about the Cowboy Junkies, featuring Margo, Michael and Peter Timmins.

The hit was "Sweet Jane" by Lou Reed off the album "The Trinity Session".

All three are named after the drummer.
