Thank you Mark & Tom, for the comments and the welcome. This is a great knowledge base on Rickenbackers here. As a Rick user since 2004, I wish I had become a member earlier. Well, better late than never
Tom, I never used the ROS mode live. It would need two separate amp rigs for max. effect and that is not very practical for me to carry around. The ROS mode sounds best in overdriven tones where the neck pickup is set to a clean tone and the bridge pickup is overdriven. In order to achieve that to an extent, I use the TC Electronic Vintage Bass Distortion which has the wet/dry mix feature. The 20% Heavy Fuzz / 80% clean setting sits very nicely in the mix without getting muddy in the low end.
On recording sessions, though, I almost always preferred to use it stereo. I used to EQ the bridge pickup channel, cutting the low end below approx. 200Hz to simulate the bridge pickup capacitor. It always sounded great in recordings. Anyway, that 4003 is not with me anymore. I currently use a v63 and it does not have the ROS feature

Mario sweet lookin – what year is the Haka? Nice little array you have there!!
Ilker – from your shots I couldn’t make up my mind if you were plugged standard or ROS. I saw the cable going out one color and the two sets of amp there with cables of different colors coming in and figured you might be the stereo king or just the effects array output and ROS… v63 – a fine choice!

Hehehe... It would probably blow everyone's hats off if I'd be using the Ampeg + Fridge rig for the neck p/u and the neighboring Marshall full stack for the bridge p/u. Btw, I've never used the ROS feature live. One of the things I wanna try before I die

No dancing with my Rick this night!
This was a couple months ago. I had my leg in a cast after tearing my Achilles tendon.

Kevin, nice shot! Gotta get the mic stand out of the way….
Ilker – I have played ROS live and man it kicks!!! But I have never with a set up like that. Man that would be unbelievable!!! Drawback is lots of equipment to lug around… but is sounds great.
Tom I like the strap… very reptilian!

My favorite South Austin beer joint, Jovita's. We play there once a month, sort of a back to our roots thing, always a packed house with a lively crowd. A shot from our 2nd set:
