Sorry for the confusion, but I do think I already specified that one needed to call the local number and ask for the "HOTEL EVENT RATE". Charly is right in that Tammy, at 714-481-6308, is the person to talk to directly.

Gary, I think we need to coordinate gear for the event through you perhaps so we don't end up with Madison Square Conference Room. I will volunteer my Ampeg PortaBass 250 head and 2x10 cab for bass. About 14"x14" of floor space.

I have a small Rumble 60 1x12 and a Peavey Minx 110 that take up hardly any room. good enough to try instruments. The SVT and 4x10 is available for the "stage".
Ps - We should be able to do some ROS experimenting!

"The stage" is where we had all our Ricks for 05. It's not a big area. As it is, the guitar display will need to be moved to the sides perpenicular to the stage area. On top of that, we'll still need an area for seating and just plain hanging out and talking(the main reason for being there in my pinion). Too many amps and it's gonna sound like Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon.

If we do it like the 75th,the instruments will be on the sides around the room. Are you saying there is no need for the SVT? I would be afraid of the guitars overpowering the 250 watt SS amps.

I'll have a very small F*nder Bassman 25 there as well for noodling around.
In fact it's already there...right Gary?
Definitely not for stage use!

Except any one Guitar Center will never have as many Rics as we will.

Y'all sure the hotel is going to allow all this noise? Unless Gary has found a different room than before, I can't quite picture it.

It IS SoCal, they love artists! It's all in the packaging!!! Seriously, I have no idea what they will think, but we had jam sessions two years ago, didn't we?

I'm sure there's no problem during the day but it would be nice to have some music in the evening like we had last year. Maybe there's a friendly local venue that might be more appropriate for night "performance", like TiaJuana's Long Bar or the Detroit Bar. Just an idea.
