Ted, I’d say that is the poster child shot for a real Ric-garage band!!! Love the WD-40 just to the right. That just sets the whole mood! Great looking bass – what year is it? What do you have in the treble pup spot?

Thanks Tom, That is a friends Machine shop were a few of us show up and jam every now and again. I love my '74 she came to me (early 80s)with the Dimarzio DP120 all ready there, I've been thinking of trying to put her back to original.

Ted, I have a '74 MG (Jun) that I got in '74. I have never met another bass yet whose neck I like as much. The HG in the treble position is a great sound! I have been playing an HB1 in the neck position for about a year now and am really liking it! Also did the cap bypass and washers under the tail piece. Enjoy - I don't think you'd regret refitting with the HG.

Too funny Mine is July. Love the neck. I think the tough part is going to be finding a mid 70s HG. The HB1 sounds interesting.

Well this is not exactly me playing but it's me pretending to play in this video

http://vimeo.com/12717370

(turn off hd if you have trouble)

Anyway the video is funny ... note that there is no bass in this song ... i just recorded the Drum Track and the guys wanted me on the video anyway. because the "drummer" spot was already occupied i was asked to bring with me my Rick and to play bass ... it was fun for sure

Hottest day of the year in England,so why not kick back take it easy and play 2hours of Yes songs indoors
and take 3Rick basses plus as much other stuff as you can load in your car to round off an easy going afternoon!
This was at Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough Yorkshire.
They are a great team who run the place and its a charity based organisation that helps people of all ages with blindness and sight problems.

Next year they are putting on an outdoor festival..........hope we get similar weather.
Cant wait to go back there.
