I once had a bunch of young women at a gig ask if they could touch my 370/12 also... and I wasn't even playing a Rickenbacker at the time.
And here's a close call for y'all.
Last Sat we were playing at this little club whose "stage" was simply the corner next to the sidewalk with our backs to the plateglass window. We had the place jumpin at about 1am and some guy persuaded his slightly overweight middle-aged wife to dance. Although she was right in front of me I wasn't looking when all of a sudden she fell to the floor knocking my mic stand toward me.... the mic bonked me square in the face and fell off of its holder and I was knocked back a bit and had to stop playing as I caught my balance. The lady was not hurt, but the look of total mortification on her face was priceless. The funny thing is that she wasn't even drunk like the rest of the loons in there.
MOST importantly my Ric 360 didn't get damaged. Whew.
