It's cool too see a bound headstock on a bass.
I'd like to hear what a 4002 sounds like, with the placement of the pickups positioned where they are. I would tend to think it would sound more or less like a Jazz bass.
Anyone know of any recordings with a 4002 on it?

Great looking bass. Wouldn't it be nice to see a high end Ric bass today with that type of premium wood, ebony board and bound headstock....

"Losing It" by Rush. The song is all synth but there is a little bass and it's a 4002.
I'm sorry, but I think the J pickup position on that thing makes it ugly.
