Have you ever known RIC to license anything?

You tell me, though I suspect it would be no.
In any case it doesn't explain why someone who is just as flagrantly breaching the RIC trademark as Ibanez, Hondo et al, is still allowed to sell the (I assume)unlicensed bridge in its catalogues. Allparts is presumably a big company, so RIC should've noticed this by now.
I don't get it myself. Can someone unconfuse me?

I have wondered how the AP bridge has survived. If the horseshoe pickup is such a problem, the bridge must certainly be an issue. There must be a thousand ways to make a bass bridge/tailpiece but only maybe one way to make a horseshoe magnet pickup. I suspect that those miniature enameled 4001 pins that pop up on Ebay so often could also be an infringment issue.

The Future Primitive pins that you see on eBay are in fact made under a long-standing license. How do you like that- two post debunks in one shot!

Cool, I considered buying one of those pins a while back. If they have the blessing of RIC, I may go for it next time. Are there other licensed items like that out there?

I'm gonna have to dig through an old shoe box of stuff - I think I might have a pin, too, from way back in the day. Wow!

I have a pin with a Redneck model, black hardware. Definitely no 4004Ci old Cheyenne although it says "gold plated" on the back but still lasting, no wear...

Does anybody have a fireglo pin or a red one with regular hardware colour(chrome)? I'd like to switch the hardware....

My 450. My "Rick mentor" (the guy who has influenced most of my Rick purchases dating back to '69) has the matching 4001.
