No gold please unless it's white gold! We can't have 'bling' basses!

White and gold would look too much like a golden wedding anniversary cake (like a White Falcon, Rob). I agree with Los - no bling!
How about gun metal grey (Iraqglo) with black binding (body and neck) and platinum trim...

Iraqglo! Nice one Howard!
Shouldn't the binding be depleted uranium though?

When we talked about the 75th Anniversary in another thread some time ago I suggested a white "wash" - as in translucent white, not just a solid white since that's been done. I think it'd be neat to do something completely new. Still, next year SHOULD be purple. "Midnight violet" sounds GREAT, Dean.

Tie-dye-glo? Hum, could be interesting.

Does depleted uranium glow in the dark, Rob? That'd be a nice touch!!

The White wash sounds awesome!
How about doing something with the binding? Or maybe having a reverse headstock or maybe doing something with the wings....
Although it sounsd like it's turning into an Angel.
Angel of Rickenbacker.

"Tie-dye-glo? Hum, could be interesting."
Does Fender still make those SPlattercaster monstrosities?
I'd stay away from anything psychedelic unless I could injest it (relatively) safely.
A really deep dark violet would be cool. . .with a hint of metallic edge. Or copperglo.. . .

Well, Roger McGuinn was into the psychedelic stuff and he played a Rickenbacker. There COULD be a connection! he he. I was thinking of those Fender splat guitars, but on a Rick I think it would be too weird. Maybe not though.

You realize that if they used this finish, the name "Snowglo" would be impossible to resist?

.... just slap on some white plastic and you're there.

A whiteout Snowglo Ric? I almost like that idea. Hmmm
I still dream of a luscious grey (not quite charcoal) with champagne-colored plastic.
Anything PURPLE would sicken me. Really. Dear God, no purple.
Of course, I would smile at the thought of a deep blue, somewhere between lapis-lazuli and navy blue. That would make 3 blue COYs I'm aware...
Just imagine a 365F in that shade though. *sigh*
