When I worked in the auto industry, everytime my plane landed in Romulus and I debarked, I was immediately struck by the time difference from California...

I would look at my watch. It would say 10 a.m. California time.

Then I would look around me. It would say 1964.

Kent's state also has the southernmost point in the US (on the Big Island).

yup, that be true..... once in a while I go over to the Big Island and crawl around on top of one of the telescope domes on Mauna Kea (its part of my job). I cant say its all that much fun, but it sure can be incredibly beautiful up there (also can be very cold and windy). When standing on the top of the dome I can honestly say I'm the "highest" person within thousands of miles.

I think its pakalolo..... but there's none of that going on at 14,000+ ft. There's little enough oxygen up there to start with.

or are you referring to the Blondie line.... "my pakalolo luau love"
