Paul ... if you want to make the 4004CII 4-2-5 sound a little darker then put in 250k ohm pots ... this is an easy mod ... and now you have me wanting a 4004CII mapleglo ... I would 4-2-5 it and put on black hardware ...

Joey, I will consider playing it on some of the next CD but need to determine which tunes.
Jeff, now that I see this bass, I can imagine it with black hardware. I agree it would look very cool.
