My "Ricdiction" goes back quite a few years. The Beatles and Byrds hooked me and I purchased several Ric 12's, each time thinking that I could be a guitar player. During the same period I started to purchase Ric basses and had THE nicest, white 76 4001 that's ever been made----no brag, just fact. :^>) Needed money and.......well, you know the rest, off it went. I replaced it with several more 4001's (all of which I loved) and several Ric 12's--all of which made me pull my remaining hair out---and yet I STILL want another one.
I currently own a V63 that has been with me for a couple of decades and won't be leaving during my lifetime.
Bass-ically Yours,
Rich Briere

My RAS started in somewhat an unusual manner. In 1995, I was living in LA and my brother-in-law lived in a small Florida town. He was looking a RIC 12 string and asked if I could visit the shops out there to see what was available. Mind you, I didn't even play the guitar back then.
After spending several Saturdays going around to several shops, I became interested (1) in learning how to play and (2) was impressed with the sound and quality of Rickenbackers.
BTW, my brother (living in NC) found the 360/12 FG that my BIL bought from Mike Parks.
