Actually, maybe Ted's grammar underscores a more serious point: do we own our Ricks, or do they own us?

I did not see it before. I left out the word "to" in that sentence a page or two back. Oooops!
I guess I should have said "No, the UPS man has delivered many brown Ricks TO their eager owners".

Or just invert the order of the direct and indirect objects, as in "they gave us money", which is (subject)-(verb)-(indirect object)-(direct object):
No, the UPS man has delivered their eager owners many brown Ricks.
Although
their now precedes its antecedent! Oh the humanity!!!!!!

Not to mention GREEN...
"The UPS man has delivered many brown Ricks to their eager owners."
Sounds like a line from the typing class manual...or a mnemonic device for some strange open tuning...or some secret society's password...
Hmmmm...

The shipped brown Ricks jumped onto the eager owners.

Dane - when you mentioned that it seemed like a typing class manual, I was reminded of the "The quick brown...." sentece. It is a sentece used to test typewriters because it contains every letter of the alphabet.
Once said Ricks have jumped onto the eager owner, does it still remain brown?

hey, they're all the same bass!
actually, I think it's interesting how much the light affects how much red you see - it's really just brown in the above pic, but here it's got a bit more of a reddish tint. stage lights help...
(oh, and definitely satin finish)
(and I'm definitely showing off!)

Here's an AG refinish I recently completed on a 335...
It has been aged, so it's quite different from the bass above. It's also glossy.
