Fender Precisions are excellent bass guitars... (the real ones, not the copious amounts of **** which attempt to copy).

I'd take an early 70's Precision over any other bass, any day.... (OK, except an -S).

Probably because, when carressed properly, they sound very much like Rics... but with that sweeet Fender neck.
