They are actually quite rare. I did have a momentary lapse of reason Aitch and briefly considered chasing after that one. I got over that brief malady that swept over me and now my sanity has returned.

James Burton, legendary guitar wildman, from Shreveport, LA, still plays one, as he did on many hits and when he fronted Elvis' TCB (Takin' Care of Business) Band in the late '60s until the King's death...His Paisley Pink Tele is his trademark.

I actually would not mind acquiring the blue version. It's a colour that I could explain to my friends and family and they probably would not ROTFL.

But I do understand your interest...........sort of...............

I'm not sure that I do! Yes, blue would be preferable, even if it's not Burton's trademark. However......

The last time I saw James Burton he was playing a white Tele. Perhaps he retired his paisley job for that gig. He did play both on the Roy Orbison and Friends Special I believe.

Brad Paisley the country star also plays one or two paisley Teles BTW including a sonic blue one.

Saw the Orbison special on TV a couple of weeks ago, and--there was Burton and the paisley to jog my memory...

There were almost as many Teles in that band as are hanging on my local GC's wall. (Well, in the entrance hall, anyway...)
