Looks like next Tuesday or Wednesday...I'm waiting for a part from RIC to finish it. We're still in "rubbing out" mode.

In all its glory I'm sure, Ron! I suspect that Melibee's getting the odd sneak preview, however....

....It'll be worth the wait, I promise!

Interesting guesses, all.... One of you Forumites is going to hate it for sure, but I think most will love it....

I can see it now... spray can in one hand, sick bag in the other...

Either way the suspense is getting to me!

I don't hate green, as I've explained. But, whereas, most reds look great on most guitars, most greens do not IMO.

So I'm picky.

And I don't use spray cans. I am an ardent crusader against them. When I took over my department's fabrication shops and classes, I gave one semester's warning, then banned spray cans without special permission, eliminating about 85% or our waste disposal bill in one fell swoop. Instead, all students were sold identical spray guns (400+) and given identical, systematic instruction in use of them. I also installed a PPG computerized mixing bank, so they can order up their paint for their projects from our hard disk formulas of over 500,000 colors going back over 20 years.

Next step is to install a solvent recovery system, which will virtually eliminate liquid waste disposal. That's next month.

Now that's what I call impressive. Kudos to you Paul. You are doing something about saving our planet. Thank you.

I agree, Paul. Anything that can be done to ensure that future generations don't have to live in a mess that we left for them is more than admirable.

Not only are you ensuring the mess we leave will be that much less, but your students get to see you doing it and that counts for alot. Good work, man!

I meant to say spray gun... but since my slip of the fingers has given an insight into some of the things you're doing I'm almost happy to have made said mistake.
