Paul: A great job. Senescent lenticular yellowing aside, how will this yellow, yellow?

Dane, I think I used it either tongue-in-cheek (it does look smashing, pumpkin) or as an example of an exception to the rule--it's a nice unsalted-buttery yellow. The picture has been color-corrected, so at least on my monitor it's accurate.

The varnish I use is a non-yellowing urethane, so maybe in 30 years, but aside from that it should remain sparkly.

So now we've got two more--a Historic series Jazzbox from 2001 with a gorgeous antique gold factory finish. Stunning. I've always loved floating-pickup archtops.

Then there's the 6117 Anniversary (2004) with its older version of the sunburst, with the shading covering much of the top bout. The newer ones have edge shading which is not so attractive to my eye.

I like your anniversary Paul - are those HiLoTrons? I agree about the shading.

Not sure I should post my 6118 as I seem to remember you opining that green guitars were out as well!

Green is a great color, British Racing Green the greatest green of them all.

My opinions...should be taken with a couple of aspirin, and call me in the morning.

That having been said, I dislike BRG on guitars. Alan, you gonna paint some vintage racer with that stuff?

Green Annies are gorgeous, it's just such a vintage vibe. I also really like Jaguar Tan Annies. I like Ivory Annies.

I like the Ivory/Cadillac Green hollow that I'm building for Aitch.

All those vintage colors really knock me out!

My 900 cc Triumph is that color, with a cream and gold logo on the tank.

Dark green is a favorite color of mine; I'd love to have guitar/bass with that basic color scheme of BRG, cream and gold.

Alan: Obviously I agree with your feelings on British Racing Green. That's me driving #62 in April, 2005 at Road Atlanta. A great color, but there are many shades to consider!

My Tiger was dark green and then I changed it to red and it came alive, visually. I've had a number of green cars. BRG has to be spotlessly executed to look right, IMO. There's a guy in my 'hood with a BRG Morgan +8. It looks stunning, but only when it's clean.

Still can't see that particular shade of green (or actually most green shades) on a guitar. Greenbursts make me shudder.

Probably just a "Forest Dwarf" phobia or something.

At the risk of being laughed at... i like green on anything, guitars included... oh, i mean green color of course - swamp green, to be more precise. Especially when the natural wood structure is seen through...

Well, I've always liked green for some reason; sea green, British Racing Green, ivy green (like the color you could get on a '68 Mustang). In fact, I have a plate of lovely green broccoli staring at me right now.

Mmmmm... broccoli...

I liked the "greenglo" Rics that were seen here a few months ago... On another note, my Triumph Trophy 900 was caspian blue, and it looked great, but it weighed as much as a tank! (I't didn't half go though)!

I thought that it looked like you in that Midget, Randy! I'd recognise you anywhere.
