Randy, I knew "TME" after he had retired from the military. He moved from, I believe, Oklahoma, to Hawaii and from what I know he is still there. In one of my last conversations with him he had told me he was looking to sell his Beatles collection. From what I remember he was looking for one buyer to purchase the entire collection. I may be remembering that wrong, but for some reason that is a strong recollection.

Graham, I am in Idaho, USA. The reason I brought up RICs R Us is simply the guitar I wanted appears to be available only through him at the present. It is a used guitar so I am aware that no warranty exists. Again, I'm not to concerned about dealer issues, just guitar issues.

Thanks to all.

Too bad Mike can't play by the same rules as everyone so we could all be happy about this arrangement. All he needs is a real store to go along with his 'Net business, which would only enhance your positive experiences and probably vastly increase his as well.

But it will probably be a moot point shortly anyway.

With respect to Rosetti, it must be noted that they are one of the oldest and most powerful forces in the British musical instrument industry and often there are political and/or long range decisions they must deal with that might not be readily apparent in the short term or to consumers. There's a very good reason why they are Rickenbacker's largest distributor and provide more of our product to this market than any other region of the world outside the U.S.

"But it will probably be a moot point shortly anyway. "

Why is that? Did I miss something?

I know you can't tell us John, but are changes about to be made re the distribution/dealership on Rickenbackers?

Guys: As I said a fews hours ago in another thread, "Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that Mr. Hall always ends his postings with something slightly cryptic..."

If you buy a Ric, and you get 2 of your friends to buy a Ric, then they get 3 of their friends to buy Rics...
