Jeff ... you could do a concert with that as long as there is a full pa system ... and that is bigger than the amp that Geddy uses ...

I've played through that very amp. It is powerful and it only weighs a few pounds. It is a little expensive though, if you can even find one.

I've played through a Walter Woods with a 15" they are impressive especially for the weight and size, they look like a small effects box, but I'll take my back breaking SVT's any day, nothing has the sound or the presence of an SVT. Incidently they're more than rock amps although they are probably the best rock bass amp going.

My current stage rig is an Ampeg V-4b reissue ('96 - 100watts, all-tube) with 4x10 and 1x15 cab's:
The nice thing about this rig is, I can push it to the point of tube saturation without nuking the entire room (it's not an extremely loud amp), and if I need volume beyond that, there is an XLR out on the back panel we run straight into the PA. I love it!

I have indeed done just that, and it sounds great and gets plenty loud, even in outdoor concert venues for stage monitoring.

I've been happy with mine, too. I have the same 1x15 as Kevin shows in his picture, and I have a 4x10 on top of that. Been using them live for 10 years now (dang, I'm getting old!), and I still dig 'em.
