In spite of our good intentions, sooner or later threads will change direction. I don't think that this should be a bone of contention.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Dave: Agreed. But in the end we get to the bottom of the issues. Let's head north again.

What I like about Peter is he speaks softly and carries a big cyber stick.

Murray the ******... I'm sorry, but John clearly says "******" and it cannot be construed as anything but that very English put-down. It is clear to me that John is more than a little miffed at this total idiot ... "Love You Do" indeed! I would have called him more than a ******! It is amazing what the boys had to put up with just in the few minutes we see them in the "First US Visit" film... George on the phone with a DJ and then getting an earful of a commercial... Ringo being told to "keep doin' it" when he says "I haven't stopped!"

It is pretty clear to me they weren't thrilled with "Murray the Wacker"!

Murray the K was one cool cat. He was a big promoter of black music in the early '60s, and probably the hippest 40-something around in 1964.

I have a couple of LPs he put out of his Brooklyn Paramount stage shows ('63 and '64) and his between-act hiptalk is VERY cool.

Murray's the guv'nor!

so I guess that one man's ****** is another man's cool-cat, eh?

One thing for sure, Murray was pretty unique.... definitly made a name for himself, no matter who he had to annoy to do it.

Or maybe thats not so unique after all?
