Jared - that white WT is such a great looker - for me way better than the white BT ones. Let them yellow - that's just character.

Because people would be complaining about white finishes yellowing too quickly."
You know I have never heard anyone complaining about the old "Cream" Fenders.
That could be because cream looks much nicer with white plastic and binding. Look at Squire's bass. Cream/black is a less attractive color combination. IMHO white looks great with black trim only when it's not yellowed.

. . . is a great drummer. Personally, I LOVE the white finish with white trim . . . it looks absolutely gorgeous. But, the Halls have said many times before that white finish is not gonna happen because it's a pain in the butt to do.

I read someplace (don't remember where or when) that Ric players are by far the most anal retentive of all the players as far as being picky when it comes to buying instruments. Fender players seem to think that wear is a badge of honor, Ric players think that it ruins the guitars. I'm somewhere in the middle, it is much more important to me that my bass plays good and sounds good rather than looks good. I bought a beat up 96 jetglo 4003 several years ago for I think 700 bucks, it's scratched, has a few dents down to the wood, headstock is banged up etc. looks like a punk band owned it, but it is one of the best playing and sounding Rics I own.
