"I really hope we can add some of the UK members to this list."

I really hope so too. Perhaps there will be better news from the UK today. I had a dream about getting one last night. I must see if that shop in my dream is a Rickenbacker dealer.

Congratulations to those who have managed so far.

Ok, thanks everyone...so that's where the V68 thing comes in. I've seen it mentioned in passing, but it was before my time here on the forum. What was the final outcome? I'd GUESS checkered binding, HS & toaster, anything else?

I placed an order today. Let's hope one is going to Scandinavia!!!!
The scandinavian distributor (Luthman) confirmed my order was the first (and the only one so far)!

Congrats, Bob! I was really hoping you'd find one. You were one of the ones that wanted it most!

Congrats Bob, the price is something that will be forgotten in short order, but the bass will live on.

Agreed Jeff.

I also dread to think about what the prices will be once the edition is completed. Gotta love some of those dealers.

Dave:

I think MSRP is the going rate with only one mass market dealer being the exception.

I have a feeling once SA realizes their mistake, the final selling price may get revised, perhaps.
