Some questions if I may....
Would a 4003 with HB's installed sound close to a 4002?
Other than the pick up placement, and the exotic wood of course, aren't they basically a 4003?
Lastly, are these the same pickups used in the 4004 models?

The pickups on the 4002 are so far back in relation to a 4003 that the sound would probably be completely different than a 4003 with HB1's. I have that pickup arrangement on my 3000 doubleneck and it sounds like no other Rick that I know of. The 4002 pickups are not the same as HB1's although they do look the same.
