John, thanks for that blast from the past. It's strange how my mind played tricks on me, I always remembered the 4005 with more of an ambered middle, still a stunning bass. One day, one day.....

Thank you very much for the pics Robert. Beautiful bass you have there. I think I am going to have to get one myself. Are the fret inlays ambered as well?

Well Eric, I guess that extra dose of amber tint did the trick on these. Raffa hit these puppies hard I noticed!

RIC really have done a nice job there with that whole retro look. The AFG does grow on you...

We have the ambered inlays, but do they have the authentic "green" frets like the vintage basses I've seen...
