Thanks, Jerry.... it's not a matter of hitting the pickup; it seems to be a wiring problem. We called Customer service about the problem, and had to send the guitar off to a repair center to get it taken care of. I should get it back and ready to rock by the middle of next week.... I am eager to see what this guitar can do--it's my first non-Ric electric that we've actually paid a Rickish amount of money for, LOL! Image

Took some more time to play with the 615 this afternoon and part of this evening.... Wow, wow, WOW! Image

I don't know how I've survived without a 600-series Ric for so long.... What a GREAT guitar! Image Image Image

Fantastic little guitars, aren't they Melissa? I really like my 620TQ. Do you have a 350 series? Image

No 350's, but I have two of their short-scale cousins, my 325V59 TQ, and my new AFG 1996. I love the body style of those--they are really pleasing to my eye.... and I feel the same about the 600 series--the cresting wave shape is so fluid, and so retro-cool looking! Image

No 350 ?? You are grossly under-stocked.

Don't feel too sorry for me, Steve! Image

If I ever get a 350, it'll have to have checkered binding....

Like this one! Image

Hey, didn't I take that picture? I think you took the one above, LOL!

Is your puddle of drool over the guitar, or her namesake? Image

Aitch, you've got kind of a starry expression going on with that Hoffs model....

Hey, does anyone know who that lady behind Aitch was? She sat there playing for quite a while but I don't recall her talking to anyone.

That was the first pool, Melibee..... the other was left on the floor at the HOB on Sunday night!! Image

Starry eyed, Alisha? You bet.... probably the only time I'll ever get to play an SH!

I remember borrowing that amp she was using for a few minutes, John, but I didn't ask her her name.

"Hey, does anyone know who that lady behind Aitch was? She sat there playing for quite a while but I don't recall her talking to anyone."

I think her name tag said something like "Ricky Lennon Girl", but I left a few of my brain cells in Santa Ana so I could be mistaken...

Yeah, she's "Lennon Ricky Girl" on the official Rickenbacker forum.... Her first name is Becky, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, she was local, but had other things happening and couldn't attend all the events. She was real nice and I even used her amp a little bit.
