Wints, I'd love green too, just check my last name! You said refinished in the U.K., may I guess Ireland?

Possibly Jim....I just don't know!
I suspect it was probably in London though, as this is where the bass spent most of it's life...

Wints: Thanks for the link to your "Great White" photos. Why not add a white couch too! A great looking bass.

Your welcome Peter. It's always nice to see the positive feedback that the bass generates.
The couch... well

Hi Wints,
I will be taking the V63 to Bob Barry in Birmingham in January all being well. Its going to be the back of the neck that gets the treatment.I measured it after reading the other thread about neck widths and its about a full centimetre thicker than the CS at the 12th.Bob did the fret dress on the CS (great job)and he was doing a job on a Yamaha bass that the owner wanted a Warwick neck fitted to.To do it he had to slim the Warwick neck down all over and did a perfect job of it so I am giving the V63 job to him. Maybe I will post a picture including a leather sofa or is everyone into Pvc and velvet these days? Its got to be cold leather for me!
Enjoy the Ashes.
