Isn't that the Spinal Tap bassist's guitar?! Gotta love the lettered notes on the fingerboard - reminds me of the Go-Go's early days!

Steve, the SVT and Marshall must have sounded nice huh?, that would be a great set up, tube Macs are great amps too. I got the two heads and two SVTs, just never tried it, probably have to experiment at home with the sound first. I saw a Joe Satriani video and the bass player was using a white Ric, stereo with two SVT's.
I am going to have to try that, I don't really play the kind of music anymore where I could get away with something like that though, I still love the loud rock though. I'd like to get back into an original rock band and try some things like that.
If I ever showed up to a blues gig with two SVT's that'd be the last one I did, and the rock a billy guy likes it deep, no treble. There's a lot of good old rock n roll in Peru believe it or not, but bringing Two SVT's over there would be ridiculously expensive.

Yes Bob those were the days eh?
The Ampeg/Marshall rig that I settled on was the Cat's Pajamas alright. Deep and toothy at the same time, and when I pushed the Marshall with the Horseshoe look out, 4x12 cab with a Marshall Super Bass. That was eventually scaled down to one 360 cab and a Marshall 50 watt lead head with the Super bass cab. Those were the days just before we started miking the band and using DI's. P.A. was vocals, Keys and drums only. Bass and the guitars were on their own.
Peru just might never be the same once exposed to a stereo SVT Ric-O-Sound rig though. You need a sponsor down there (o;}

All they had when I was there were Squire P basses and Yamahas, I'd need a sponsor just to get them there. Anything from the states is double the money. I did see some real good bands there though. A beatle cover band was great and I saw the Lima Filarmonica with assorted musicians doing beatle covers including Abbey Road.
