Mr. Hall, in your spare time could you please squeeze out another special edition bass?

May I suggest the "JN Edition" as shown above?

I know of three sales immediately, myself, Paul and Jared. Wait, you may have to give Jared his, so Paul and I will take one each.

When may we expect delivery?

( Oh yes, please enclose certificates as well)

Here's a pic that I took of three 4004s @ the 2002 NAMM show.

Man, that is a beautiful piece(s) of wood under that green!

I'll be among the first in line when the Cii5's come back on line, but it's too hard to choose the best transparent finish.
My wife likes the blue, but they're all great, & I can't imagine covering up wood like that with an opaque finish.

"My wife likes the blue"
Yeah, that was my personal favorite as well. I DID order the blue color, but somehow between NAMM 2002, and last year when I finally got my hands on ONE, it turned to green LOL.
Also, it is my opinion, but putting the new pickups did not de-RIC the sound. On the contrary, it did more to improve the sound than I had hoped for. It definitly still is a RIC bass. Now if I could just play as well as our Itailian brother, Fransico :-)

Mr.Hall did say in another thread once that the pickups were much less important to the sound than the materials and construction of the instrument itself.

I hate it when you you get a blank page and then you go back and re-enter it and it turns out you double posted but then you can't go back and delete one so people just end up thinking you're having a senior moment which I'm not.

"having a senior moment which I'm not."

That's what everyone thinks when they have a senior moment!

Wait, didn't someome just say that? Na, I must be imagining it!

Maybe it has something to do with being a senior member?
