I think I read that it was -29F at International Falls. Yesterday. Yikes! Thanks for checking in Melissa. I was just thinking about you and wondering how things were going.

Thanks again.... things are much better now.

The cold is brutal--on Monday, school was cancelled because is was 20 below (Fahrenheit), and the wind was gusting to at least 50 miles an hour. Can anyone say "Cabin fever"? We will be escaping the chill by taking a much-needed trip to warmer climes in a couple of weeks--I think it will do wonders for a lot of things!

Melissa, write some new songs. I already have 4 new ones going, all acoustic so far. I find that, in stressful or hard times, the best tunes come out.

Steve, I've got two new ones that I'm working on, and they are both turning out pretty good. Believe me, when I am emotionally overloaded, music is about the ONLY way to soothe my troubled soul.

I can't wait to hear your new songs, Steve.... you know I like your stuff.

Taking off again.... This time headed south to beat the mid-winter blues in Galveston to enjoy some much-needed R&R and some quality time with my family--Will be back in 10 days or so!
