Howdy,
Late in the film John, trying to dodge a bit of work, takes the hand of a lovely dancer girl backstage and answers: "..But she's going to show me her stamp collection" heh-heh!
Eggman
PS: On a related note I recently encountered a lovely young news woman as I exited the stage at Shreveport's Municipal Autditorium. I told her: "I can get you onstage!" she replied: "Oh..really..how?"
Me: "Just go down this hall, turn left and.." I loved "A Hard Day's Night"!

haaaaaaaaa... if I ever used the line "I can get you onstage!", the babe would just laugh and say "but you have a very small stage!".
Then I'd ask to see her stamp collection and she'd slap me in the face... I'd say "But honey, haven't you see A Hard Day's Ni-..... the bouncer then grabbing me by the scruff of neck ... I'd utter the immortal words "ack ack ack" .... my bandmates would chuckle and continue tuning up....
ah yes, it all too familiar. But then I'm a Nightshade, not an Eggman, and therein lies the key difference.
