I've really enjoyed this forum. I don't own a Ric, yet, but I can't imagine me playing another electric at all. And it's mostly because of this forum. Thanks, Peter. And to the rest of the denizens of this place, you can be assured that when my Ric does indeed arrive, you'll be the among the first to know all about it--as soon as my fingers get too tired of playing it, that is Image

Thanks Peter... and I'm sure as Peter himself would say, thanks to the rest of us who make this place what it is. 7000 posts would be empty without great people to share them with, right? Peter planted the seed... the rest of us help the thing grow.

Peter, if you ever find yourself in upstate NY, I assure you you'll want for nothing.Image

Congrats Peter on reaching this milestone, and thanks to you for providing the site where I have picked up so much information on my Ric guitars and basses.

Peter, although I haven't read every post in this thread, I'm pretty sure I'm echoing many others when I say first, "you're welcome!" and second "thank you, too!". You also certainly have made many new friends in seven years! Here's to a job (labor of love!) well done, and to many more posts!

Peter -- you've built some kind of community here! I'm only coming up on my 400th post in 2 years, but I've learned so much. I am always amazed at the amount of knowledge and camaraderie among the other Rick lovers on this site. The demeanor of the entire group is SO different than most of other boards. It's an amazing thing -- and it all points back to you, and how you handle your role as moderator.

Your forum is a World Class Act, and by extension, you are a World Class Moderator. Congratulations and thanks for all the hard work that must go into this endeavor.

You mean I'm still ahead of you Peter? I think about 6000 of mine were in the "Great Flatwound Debate" though. Who's number 1, The "Rath"?

Thank you, Peter! I've been a guitarist most of my life and always loved Rickenbackers for the great sounds recorded by all of the classic artists who use them, from Squire to the Beach Boys. But it was only in the past two years that I began learning all of the fascinating details of their guitars and basses, so much information and everything I've learned came from this forum or links provided by it's members. Please keep up the great work!

Thank you Peter for building such a great site for all Rickenbacker enthusiasts from all areas music. I have found it to be such a resourceful site full of kind and helpful members, but most of all making the site such an internationally connected place where I have already in my short time made many great friends and hopefully many more to come.
