Wish I could have stayed for another day Image It was an amazing experience for me getting to meet and party with you all, and seeing the famous star guitars and basses of the Forum, like Dave's 4080 resurrected from a terminal case of Steinbergism by Dale, and Paul Boyer's gorgeous Mink that Paul Wilczynski did such a masterful job on, Jeffrey Scott's amazing prototype tulip tenor guitar, and so many others!

I was hoping that there would be more than three of us with 4003DCMs there, so we could have taken a lineup photo of them all. But despite that fact that my other three DCM guitars won't arrive until later this week, there were enough there to get all four models photographed in one shot.

Sorry I will miss meeting you in-person, Jim, and I can't wait until Jeffrey posts all the photos that his wife and he took so far. And I hope Paul Boyer posts on the forum some of the same photos he took for his upcoming book. What you all saw yesterday was just the tip of the iceberg Image

Awesome grouping of wood so far! Such beautiful instruments! It must have been a real sensory overload, to put it mildly. Reading about the camaraderie was tough knowing how it really is. The best part of being there...

Anyone film any of the playing? How about listing who played and a taste of what was played?

Damn!!!

What a heart-warming photo of the gang. Nice work. The Rics of Sherwood. I see Robin in Lincoln green in the back row.

Once again it was a wonderful experience getting to talk to many of the others I met last year(John Williams, John Simmons, David McLaughlin,Jeffrey Scott, Dave Pascoe) . Got to meet new people and of course to see and play all those Ricks. Many Thanks to Chris and John for putting everything together. Thanks to David for Forcing me (yeah, right) to play them 850's and the 310 as well as my 1st real test drive on a 325. It's quite hard to imagine that for 1 or 2 days a year all these Rare Rics and Unrare for that matter get together where we all have a chance to see them up close, compare and of course, play them. A guitar candy store. Thanks to everyone for coming and bringing their gits.(Did I win the prize for the sorriest instrument)? Wow, Post # 14 for me!!!!
Enjoy!

Sure Glen, I'd be honored!

Send them to the address in my profile.

I'm off to play this evening, but when I return home tonight, I'll resize them and post if you like!

I just got home and have started to unpack.

I consider myself to be a lucky human. I have an understanding family to allow me to indulge myself to go to this event, even though I just went to one in the Southern Hemisphere a few months ago.

Seeing old friends and so many new faces, plus a 120 Rics, has me on stimulation overload.

Thanks to John S, Don, Chris and Shelby for an awesome event. Thanks to Kathy for the Fireglo cookies. Also thanks to Shari for taking pictures for us all day.

I will post my pictures as soon as I can compress them.
