Blown up, I guess it looks like most likely the RCA logo on the guitar TRC, since the bass TRC is more prominent.
I'm assuming this was done since there is no pickgaurd like there is on all the guitars.
Question anwswered, I guess!

They shouldn't be calling this a "4080". It was a one-off for a then exec at RCA. The RCA basses were rare in themselves (maybe only two or three) and may have been the first 4004s made. Wow! 32 years ago!
