Unless you're willing and able to live on $3.00 a day, I'd give the altruistic schtick a rest. It is not "one world" but at the rate the living standard of the middle class here is falling it might be one day. Until then, I'm going to do my dead leval best to slow that long slide into oblivion.

went in and talked to the gc guys today. they are going to give me some dough back. i have to take the bass in tomorrow so the main manager can sign off on it, but they are being really cool about it. surprisingly. i paid $1500. how much should i ask for in return?

$300.00-$400.00. The manager will know what they have in it. If they took it in as a V63, then there will be less wiggle room. They probably don't have more than $700.00 in it.

Guitar Center actually refunded me $300.
