Thanks everyone for the praise and kind words, yes it's a beautiful guitar (I won't tell you what my first words were when I first opened its case)!!
I think the 660/381 Amber Fire glo's that RIC are producing at the moment are absolutely stunning, Kevin and any of you guys that have one of these models on order are really in for a treat...As for the binding,I personally think they are a bit too yellow but its will interesting to see what its going to look like in a few years whether the colour of the binding will fade or go darker........

Robert, I agree with everyone's comments. Your 381 AFG is simply fantastic. If I'd had the foresight to connect the AFG Color of the Year option to this model I would have placed an order. That's one hell of a guitar you have. Well done

Thanks Darren, as regards getting hold of 381AFG,you want to keep an eye out in Japan as they are bound to turn up there in the near future...

Kevin, yes the 1996AFG was a great looking guitar and the most amazing back, but I just couldn't get along with it's small neck and also couldn't get the sounds I wanted too,in the end I sold it to a guy in Germany who plays in a Beatles tribute band....

Well it found a good home where it will probably be played - so everybody wins.

Hey Tony, I want your Bass - That is just perfect!
Did it come with the neck pickup in that position or did you mod it?
Or was it a vintage reissue? It looks stock still has the Made in America sticker on it
