John M., is that the same one that was/is owned by Andrew Gold?
Indeed.

+1 That was the big plus for me, no outlandish stage shenanigans, just good ole rock and roll!

Yeah, I'm really glad Tom didn't have a "costume failure".

Dave of Dave's guitar in Wisconsin has an original RM1993 from '65. He's not parting with it, but one day, I (or someone else here) could get as lucky as Tom did with Norm's 1993 and snag it! (but if you're going to, let me know so I can cry softer than I will when I don't know about someone snagging it)

Oddly enough, this one looks exactly like the one Brian Jones of the Stones played from this pic in 1965. TRC shape and everything...

That super-rare 360F is also listed as having a "non-factory pickguard" and is referred to as "a Boatpaddle." Norm sure had some cool guitars, but a Rick Nut he was not. Also he was evidently not a boating enthusiast. He should know that one only uses a guitar as a boat anchor, not a paddle.

One thing is for sure...this is probably my favorite halftime show since "nipple-gate" sent the network in search of safe classic rockers.

If people have given the thumbs down to Tom's beard it's nothing compared to the spectacle that is Campbell's grunge meets rasta hairdo (I never thought I'd see the day when TP & the HB's would remind me of Counting Crows.) That, plus the 15 year M.I.A. of his 625(*)12 gives him a tie with Robin Zander for worst classic rocker look of the past ten years. The laws of physics can't prevent any of us from aging. But it is scary how one's look can go from totally cool to completely clueless fashion wise when it was once considered to be a part of one's job. The lifetime achievement award in this category goes to Jagger circa early 80s, when he was wearing yellow spandex pants with knee pads, and an NFL jersey of the team of the city they were playing in.

If I had that much hair at his age I'd show it off, too. Rastaman Bird's Nest hairdo for the win!

That may be the key. Maybe he doesn't have that much hair and it's extensions.

Glenn, are you saying a comb UP over - and that's why he has a beard!

The general consensus amongst the old boys this week, was that this was the most boring SB show they had ever seen.
Most were longing to see JJ back, and a little more energy, even with possible malfunctions...

1993, 1996, 1998 etc, ... it seems like there was more variation to the f hole Ricks than I initially thought.
1) Tom's Super bowl guitar had:--------F hole, white binding, round fret markers, tp ??------------= 1964 360 “Export” ??? Is this a Rose Morris?
2) Then there is the one with:----------F hole, white binding, triangle fret markers, "R" tp--------= RM 1993 ???
3) Prior to now I only knew about:------F hole, no binding, round fret markers, vibrato tp---------= RM 1998 ???
4) For 2006 Rick had a 3/4 scale:-------F hole, no binding, round fret markers, vibrato tp---------= RM 1996
There were 6 and 12 strings.
Is this it? Do I have it correct? Are there more?

I think your number 2 would be classed as a 360 export model
