From what i know, he didn't pay a visit to Siberia... so it was more about soldiers from Siberia than Siberian winters.
Well, just a remark. Nevermind.

I would think so. When you realize that much of the world sees the US as the biggest threat to world peace, it's not hard to see the similarities. Unlike Nazi Germany, the US has practically unlimited power and for the time being, resources to do as it wants to in the world. Fortuantely, many of the similarities will end after the upcoming election....I hope.

There isn't a country in the world that helps the needy more than the USA regardless of who they are or what they look like!

I would prefer to just discus the wonderful Rickenbackers that we all love.

Nobody said we were all bad. Personally, I resist labels like "hard left" (or "hard right", for that matter) except in giving directions to the post office. They tend to present both issues and the people who take positions on them, in oversimplified characterizations, rather than their real-world complexity.

I love Ricks, too, whether they be "lefty" or "righty".

So true, Paul. I edited my post, because I don't want to make any assumptions or accusations toward all my friends here.

Our diversity is what makes us strong.

It's a funny thing about the lefty and righty Ricks. The very first Rick I ever saw was Macca's. So, a lefty Rick always looks "right" to me.

Amen, Kev...thanks for agreeing to disagree and keeping this from going from an interesting simmer to a full-blown boil-over.

You know what look weird to me? Lefty Jags and Jazzmasters. I wanna get one and string it righty just to wake folks up in those sleepy surf towns...

That would look cool! It almost reminds me of a Firebird.

DAMN!

I only posted this for the LITTLE TINY RICKENBACKER BASS the dude was holding!

I didn't notice Nazi logo, I don't think I've even heard (or seen ) Lemmy play!

Man, when I want to provoke a heavy thread, it falls flat, when I don't....DAMN!

Back on thread? HOW ABOUT A CHRIS SQUIRE figure please?

(Honestly I liked this lil off topic discussion, helps me get to know you guys better rather than just knowing the insane guitar loving part)

A Squire figure huh? Bass would be mandolin size right?

The company that makes the Lemmy figure has others planned, so maybe a CS figure will be forthcoming.

The thing is MOST people are neither hard left or hard right, they are somewhere in the middle. It's the silly polititions that are hard left or hard right. Enough of the political stuff....where is the April fools jokes? I was hoping for another 4005 re-issue.

Rikk,

I think you are moderately right, but all this political talk left me cold.

This morning, I went into the bathroom to take my shower, and saw that someone had stretched a piece of saran wrap across half of the toilet bowl, then lowered the seat. I carefully removed it, and went into Juliana's bedroom and asked her if she was the perp. She 'fessed up.

"But honey," I asked, "Why did you only stretch it across the top half of the toilet bowl?"

"Daddy, I didn't want to actually bother anybody!" was her response.

Sweet kid, I thought.

That trick works even better on women when they get up in the middle of the night. Be prepared to sleep on the couch the rest of the night though.
