Excellent point, yes, but paying $2K for a short scale 6-string electric, that's more on the collector side of things, rather than as a player, so I can understand the reasoning, although it's pretty lame to discover/decide after receiving the item.

I don't expect to sell it for 2K, and will accept offers. I would like to get something in the ballpark to help pay for the P Bass I just bought.

I agree. Unless you are a dealer and trying ti jerk with people pass it on. I would be happy to take it off your hands.
