That's a nice job on the restoration, but it sort of seems like you're talking to yourself these last few weeks.
Is it ready to plug in and do you have any sound clips?

Hi Milo,
Although no one has posted any notes here as of late, I was thinking perhaps they are simply in awe from the photos
No, seriously, I am simply providing information for this to be available for others online, forever. This is so hard to come by, no one knows how to fix them, everybody wants one, no one ever finds them, no one wants to share photos, etc.
I thought it would be nice for someone to completely share their find from start to complete finish.
Good idea!! I never thought of posting sound files - does this forum allow these types of attachments?
The amp was powered up a long time ago, before I got the tape delay board working, and it sounds terrific - all original components!!!
The tape delay board and all controls work well, although I think there is some tweaking that can be done to improve the sound quality.
When the ECHO is on, the high notes are warbly, like if the motor is shaking the tape. I'm thinking more along the lines of an expired capacitor here and there. Considering that all of the components are 50 years old, it would make sense. One of my main electrolytic power capacitors had really old solid black leakage material on the underside, but I'm sure all caps are well beyond their intended life expectancy.
Cheers!
Frank

(As a proud owner of 2 Rickenbacker amplifiers) I was listening also.
