John you need to try a "mint green" guard on that sonic blue. I had one like it and it really brought out the "vintage" vibe with the blue.

Wow, Gary, lucky you! I love your 335, always liked the breadwinners, and the sitar is very intriguing. I take it those are three pickups for the internal sympathetic strings?

I put one on, but actually liked the white better! Not sure why. I was sure I'd love the mint green.

The third pickup is under the "sympathetic strings" ... which aren't actually sympathetic as on a real sitar because they are not connected to the bridge of the regular strings. Takes a bit of coordination to strum those and play the other strings at the same time ...

Oh, I see, the sympathetic strings outside and on the face, that's a pickup, bridge and tuners. Cool, and I love the finish!

Gary, that guitar is BEAUTIFUL.
I'd love to find one just like it.
THAT'S what I'm talking about!

I like some of those PBC/Bunker basses Gary. I almost bought a PBC back in '93 or '94 from the factory in Coopersburg PA.

Thanks guys ,i like cowboy guitars
I've had all the others too, Les Pauls, Strats, Teles ect...
Pics for another day...
But i've just kept my Rickenbackers and Gretsches
as they're the ones i get the biggest kick out of owning and playing.
Shouldn't have sold my 330 and 325v59 though, i'm still hurtin over them two.
Nearly bought a Strat last week though,i havn't had one for about 5 years.

Beautiful Gretsches! Someday I'll have to get a shot of my uncle's '59-'61 (not sure of the exact year) 6120...it's got the best wood grain I've ever seen on a Gretsch. Nice and flamey.
