My band opened for the Bangles in the early 80's. Susanna was kept on the bus, well away from everyone (sadly). The Peterson sisters were very kind and friendly to us. Michael Steele was cold as ice. A fun show. 8)

Neat story. Thanks for sharing that. As is my habit, I will post the link to "In your Room," which is what I do on any Hoffs/Bangles related thread (can't....stop....):

That recording btw comes from Hoffs' and Sweet’s “Under the Covers” CD. I wish they would do a follow-up.

They have.
It's "Under the covers volume 2!"
Once again some very cool cover versions, but this time it's tracks from the 70's.

Actually, It was Michael Nesmith's mother who created liquid paper.

Which is what was posted. The question was about Nesmith's mother, whom I replied about. Good to know Mark and I aren't the only two who knows this bit of trivia. :D

Best version ever of Different Drum: The Monkees season 1, Ep. "Too Many Girls." Mike performs an abbreviated (and intentionally bad) version of the song as a "contestant" on a talent show.
