Sorry for the lack of photos and updates folks. It's been a busy week.

After trekking across the globe, the fun started last Friday night at Gilda's Club Annual Gala Charity Ball. Dave and Lisa's table featured many familiar faces. It was a fun night, apart from Dave's appalling version of "Jesse's Girl" and the closing of the bar at only 11pm.

MARF on Saturday was tremendous. The range of Rickenbackers was excellent, but more importantly I got to meet a number of RickResource characters for the first time. Chris and Shelby's hospitality was simply first class. Later that evening J Dog and Biscuit Boy performed the Airway Lanes song "Don't Let Go", which was a real surprise. The crowing highlight for me was being able to perform "Won't Get Fooled Again" with Kenny and Jeff. I would have travelled 11,000 miles just for that moment.
Here's the Commonwealth contingent....Dean Siliga from Canada, Darren from Australia, Graham from the UK:-

It was cool meeting Mark Walker (left) and Tony Matura (right)

I was glad that Tony Cabibi could join us, Max Headroom style! Joey "walked" Tony all around the MARF activities.

Sunday was a little more subdued. We made a trip to the Tinicum Guitar Barn, affectionately renamed "The Murder Barn" by Lisa Pascoe, on account of her wishing that Dave could be buried in the woods behind the place, or fed to the barking dogs, Joey Vasco-style. This photo gets my vote for the Best Album Cover shot.

The most under-whelming experience of my trip, indeed my entire life, was Dave's special "rock concert". After driving for some considerable time, along with an arduous hike, we finally stopped at a bunch of ****** old rocks, where Pascoe feebly attempted to hammer out his own version of Jimi Hendrix's "Freedom". Yawn. We got back in the car and went home.

After dropping Kenny at the airport, it was time for a Philly cheesesteak from Steve's...the Prince of Steak. This is a must-do activity whenever I'm in Philadelphia.

The New York City skyline from the top of the Rockefeller Center was breathtaking. I could easily live in New York for a year or two - I love the place!

The highlight of the New York City visit was getting to see the legendary Les Paul perform at the Iridium Jazz Club. I hope I'm still playing guitar at 93 years old! He is one way cool dude!

The Les Paul show was great. His bassist is Nikki Parrott. She's pretty hott, rhymes with Trott...an excellent bassist and she's from Australia!
