Wow- all that negative energy- Musta been responsible, 'cause that was only a Helicopter I heard circling overhead....

SO, while we all continue chanting, I'll continue talking about my Laredo- and if it's pics you want..

Well, here's one---
That's me and Nancy lee, in Waterford Ireland, with (2) members of the Garda..
It was raining, and they were both chatting up this cute little Irish lasss in a skirt like the Ladies wore here in the States in the late '80s...It was SOO charming!
And my gosh! The Crystal! Oh, you should see it! Why Nancy bought a little candy dish, that is only sold in the Waterford plant, and she keeps it in...
What?
Huh?

Oh- You mean pictures of the BASS!
:)

Sorry, I didn't understand..

Well, it should be here, any minute now I hope..
So anyway, after we saw the Crystal being made, we went into town, and to a charming little pub where we...

Whoa, hold up- That sounds like somethings coming up the street and....
IS IT???!!!!!!

Lemme think here...
Oh, OK- How about this-
I WILL take pics of the FG 4003-promise! 8)

I'm assuming that the "24 Hour rule" ... and I'm new here, remember- is that you don't open the box so the instrument settles in or some such thought?!

Nahh, not gonna happen. Don't worry about it.

Hey- At NAMM I saw, and ordered another Bass! Well, shortly after NAMM-
Can ya believe it? What kind of fool am I??

"What kind of Fool amI? Who never falls in love....
Anthony Newley, way back when.

Well, I FALL in Love... I fell in love with the Laredo, and I betcha I'm gonna fall in luv with the '03 when it gets here- between 9 AM and 7 PM for a residential delivery....

What 24 hours.... you kid, right?

ANyway- there's another Bass i loved, so I ordered it... wanna hear about it? It'll pass the time, and we can file it under "greater bass guitar discussion"...
Or maybe not; maybe best stick to Rics which is fine with me.

Trust me- I'm stoked.

WHY else would I do this, when I should be working, capitalizing on all the NAMM business I need to do, or even practicing on my Laredo....

Hey, now that I think of it, what a great bass that is-

What's that??!!!

Oh, nothin' sorry

It's coming, it's coming---
Would I lie to you all??
I like and respect you; I thought I made that clear before!

Tracking Detail | Help

Tracking Number: 1Z RR4 298 03 9140 238 3
Type: Package
Status: In Transit
Your shipment is moving within the UPS network and should be delivered on the Scheduled Delivery Date. A shipment can remain in this status until it is delivered. Other than time-definite air deliveries, shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.

What should I do if I'm expecting a delivery?
This is the most up-to-date information about the status of your shipment. For residential deliveries that require a signature, you can leave instructions for the driver if no one will be home. For example, you can ask that it be delivered to a neighbor who will be home. Shipments that don't require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion.

Rescheduled Delivery: 01/21/2009
Shipped To: ENCINO, CA, US
Shipped/Billed On: 01/14/2009

Because you are ENTHRALLED, and the Drama, the Pathos, the Magnificence! of...

THE WAIT!

Yes, there are those who have waited 3-4 years for their Ric Basses; I have been waiting a WEEK! since I ordered this, and each second that I must wait for that &#*#*(& Brown UPS truck to get it's bumper over here is like a Decade!!

Yes, we are down to the WIRE now, 2 1/2 hours at the most before this son-of-a-gun driver gets here with my BOX-
If he knew what was in that box, he'd have been here at 6 in the AM, I was ready...

So-
You are compelled to spend this time, waiting with me, feeling my pain, my joy, my pulse race while the bass makes its way to me and my fingers.

And when it arrives- there will be voluminous postings about how much I like it, and NEVER knew that the 4003 was that badass and toneful, and you long-time knowledgeable Ric fanatics can shake your collective heads, and sigh:
"freakin' newbie--- Jeesh"

Go right ahead- i'm gonna post anyway...

Hey- Did I ever tell you about my Laredo I got 2 weeks back??
