Here are some pictures of the SFD event last night. Lot's of RRF-ers and associates showed up for the fun... Kenny and Deb were there early; Rickenbrother's drummer Paul S was there for awhile; MiniCon drummer Alberto came with several friends; Graham and Dan, Rich and Marcee and a whole bunch of the Smiling Face Down extended family.

We haven't done any gigs the past few months due to a couple of newborn young `uns born to a couple of the guys in the band (not me), as well as working on finishing all of the songs for our upcoming CD. We played a warm up gig at Coconuts in Capistrano Beach a couple of weeks ago.

Two new shows. Today at the 2010 Hell On Wheels Rally, and next weekend at Alex's Bar in Long Beach for the "Born Free" motorcycle rally afterparty at the club. I'm going to attempt to use straplocks for the first time. Wish me luck; they're completely alien to me, unless they're of the Gretsch-type straplock, which I've considered figuring out a way to install on my Ricks, but decided to opt for the standard straplocks instead. The lack of straplocks has hindered my on stage acrobatics of late.
