slobber,drool,lust...just freakin' gorgeous, jdog! on the subject of wiring options, when i owned your 4002,i had coil taps on both of the sd pickups, allowing for a LOT of great tonal variations, and would love it if something similar could be done with my cii,but i would hate to mess with the sound i am already getting from it-i am gonna get a VVT done soon, tho. someone (maybe jeff rath?) once posted on here about not being able to get a good sound from tapping the hb-1's,so i dunno how feasible that is. "snake" is a perfect name, btw!

also just noticed-did you change the trc? it looks black/white probably just an effect of all that nice floridian sunshine....it looks like a black plexi in the pic.....

Same here. If I hadn't seen the one at NAMM I wouldn't have even considered this, especially unseen. But Chris' word is gold when it comes to Ricks, so I knew I couldn't lose.

Must be the sunshine. That's gold. Thanks for the heads up on the HB1's. Thankfully wiring mods are reversible!

Jason, that is one bee-U-tee-ful bass. Congratulations!! I like green as a color in basses but this might be the best looking yet - great grain!!

Can I join the club? I bought this BlueBoy yesterday
It's my second Rickenbacker, the Fireglo is my '94 that I bought new in '98. It's been in a store for 3.5 years.

Ok Tammy,
Since you asked!
Here are a few quick shots. Then I'm off to my laptop to post some more!
Sorry, I started playing her and lost track of time!
VERY OVERCAST here today, so inside shots will have to do!
Not as much flame as Jdog's or what we saw at Namm, but it's there..just not showing up well in the indoor shots.

So Tony how big is that grin on your face?? She is definetly a keeper! Funny I didn't see any Tinkerbell memorabilia in sight...

When it clears up you will have to take a pic next to the van.. like Paul did with the Karman Ghia....

Congrats Tony I am looking forward to seeing her in person as well. Darn I wish I could play

...and what you don't see, is Tony's Tinkerbell slippers on the other side of his dresser.
The Cii looks great, T. You know where to send it if you don't love it!!
