Your studio/stage setup?

Get your amp hot , whack both the janglebox knobs up to around 2 o'clock, whack the Reverb Tone and Mix knobs up to max on your AC30 but keep the drive switch on low, and wow, surf along on a reverb ride that does big poo poos over anything coming from the Fender side of town.

Let me know how you get on.

Mateybob, you'll probably hear my neighbors yelling, all the way across the pond, if I follow all your suggestions on cranking everything up to the max !!!

Not everything! Just the Reverb tone and mix knobs, leave everything else as is.

Well, I tried that "Hot" setting Back Panel switch out this afternoon, (in combo with the Vintage switch), on the CC2, and going to keep using it. I plug into the Top Boost channel and I like adding a little bit of the Normal channel, with the switch up, for a little natural Overdrive. Had the Volume settings around 10 -11 o'clock. Used a Tube Screamer pedal for some of the tunes. No chance to try your Reverb recommendations as we didn't practice any Reverb songs today.

I can't turn my Janglebox up too high, though or I start to get feedback. I kept the JB settings (Gain and Attack) around the 1'o clock positions.

With regards to feedback with the JB turned up high, just try moving it around or a bit further away from the amp.
I can get mine nearly up to the max without any feedback.

For my '72 4001, I've got an Ampeg SVT3 and Genz Benz 410 UB2 cabinet. I set the midrange EQ to its lowest frequency (which corresponds to about an octave up on the G string) and boost it slightly, and engage the Bright switch (boost at 2 kHz or so); I boost the low EQ to suit the room. With the tweeter about halfway up on the cabinet, I get the best sound I've ever heard from this bass. (My fretless J-bass sounds great too!)

For recording, I take the post-EQ direct output from the amp, which gives me essentially the same sound I'd be sending to a speaker.
